Vera Wang made a bold statement at New York's Bridal Fashion Week with an enthralling collection that did not feature a single white gown.
Inspired by luxurious lingerie pieces, the designer described her collection as "light, airy concoctions of froth… mysterious and sexy, frivolous and fun". Gowns in dramatic black, coffee and nude hues graced the runway in crushed Italian tulle, tissue organza, chiffon and silk georgette.
The stunning collection included dramatic ball gown and mermaid shapes finished with chantilly lace applique and textured ruffles… a beautifully bold statement by Vera.
