Real Wedding: Bianca & Jason

HOW WE MET: We met at uni - One of my friends gave Jason my number when we were at lunch one day, 10 years ago this September!

OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY: A bottle of Veuve, a large diamond ring and Jason on one knee on the cliff tops at North Bondi, followed by dinner at Icebergs Dining Room & Bar

MARRIAGE TO US MEANS: Marriage means family, a lifetime of friendship, love and support for one another.

WEDDING VENUE: Our ceremony was at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Rose Bay & our reception was at Vaucluse House Tearooms, Vaucluse. We loved the garden setting in Vaucluse.

THEME/STYLE: Classic, stylish, chic.. The setting was important, I wanted it to be reminiscent of the party scene from the movie ‘Sabrina’ with Audrey Hepburn.. and black and white elegance for the bridal party was inspired by Coco Chanel

BUDGET: More than what we had set out to spend! I never ended up doing a final tally, its probably best not to know

PHOTOGRAPHY: Sugarlove are the ‘go to’ photographers, they were recommended to us by friends who had used them for their weddings. We love our wedding photos, they are a beautiful reminder of so many special moments from the day and how lucky we are to have such special friends.

BRIDE’S DRESS: A fitted, strapless bodice by Steven Khalil with intricate bead detailing and many layers of tulle forming the skirt. It reminded me a 1950s Dior couture gown from the book ‘The Golden Age of Couture’, it was a total princess dress

BRIDE’S SHOES: Jimmy Choo - Champagne peep toe sling backs

BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES: Zimmerman floor length black silk dresses

BRIDESMAID’S SHOES: Bridesmaids own

JEWELLERY/ACCESSORIES: I wore Chanel earrings and the garter my mum wore on her wedding day

WEDDING RINGS: My rings are Art Deco inspired and diamond encrusted from Tiffanys Legacy Collection - you can never have too many diamonds! Jasons ring was custom made engraved with our wedding date on it by Jason Moss

GROOM/GROOMSMEN ATTIRE: Jason wore a black dinner suit with white shrit and black tie tailored by Matthew Lawrence Bespoke, the groomsmen wore dinner suits, shirts and tied from Peppers Formal Wear in Double Bay

HAIR: My hair was a ballerina inspired high bun

MAKEUP: Natural

INVITATIONS: Elegant, cursive script on thick rectangular card, a traditional invitation

FAVORS/BONBONNIERE: We hired a photobooth so guests could leave a photo in our guest book and take a copy home

FLOWERS: My bouquet was white David Austin roses, the girls had roses too with a bit of greenery. The boys had a single rose with white berry. The centrepieces were mixed arrangements of different types of roses including Julia, Jude the obscure & David Austin in Autumn hues, hydrangea in green & blush & white berry

CEREMONY DÉCOR: A pretty church

RECEPTION DÉCOR: Bentwood chairs, tealight candles, fairylights & flowers

WEDDING PLANNER & STYLIST: Me!

CAKE TYPE: 3 Tiered cake with fresh flowers

WEDDING SONGS: Ceremony Song: Canon in D

Reception: Entered as Mr & Mrs to Somebody to Love me - Mark Ronson

First Dance: ‘Just the way you look tonight’ by Frank Sinatra

ENTERTAINMENT: We had a string trio at the ceremony and a DJ at our reception

FOOD & BEVERAGES: Fresh, tasty, modern.. and the desserts were so pretty!

TRANSPORT: Black S class Mercedes Benz

HONEYMOON: Qualia on Hamilton Island

GIFT REGISTRY: The Wedding List Company

A MEMORABLE MOMENT: The car ride after we were married and on our way to Watsons Bay for our photos where we got to spend a moment where it was just us..., When we were announced to be husband & wife!
