HOW WE MET: Kurt and I met about 4 years ago at a local night spot. He came and introduced himself and wowed me with some of his famous dance moves.

OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY: Kurt propsed to me on a holiday in Fiji. We had just got to our last resort, Likuliku. Kurt suggested a walk out along the jetty to take in the stunning scenery. I was totally surprised and speechless to say the least when all of a sudden Kurt dropped down to one knee and proposed! It was the biggest and best surprise of my life and a day I’ll never forget.

MARRIAGE TO US MEANS: A Celebration of love and a lifetime commitment of happiness & support for each other.

WEDDING LOCATION: Ceremony-Longworth House (Newcastle), Reception- Surfhouse (Merewether)

THEME/STYLE: The overall style was Vintage-inspired, with a beachy/earthy feel

PHOTOGRAPHY: Jake Thomas photography was the first thing we fell in love with when planning our wedding. Friends of ours also used Jake thomas photography and raved about them!... Their wedding album is stunning so we knew right away he was the photographer for us. We loved how he captured the “moments” and that not all of the photos were posed. We definitely weren’t let down.

ONE THING I WISH I KNEW BEFORE I STARTED MY WEDDING PLANSWe would plan an indoor ceremony right from the start. It was pretty stressful worrying about the weather in the lead up to our wedding.
