HOW WE MET: We met towards the end of high school through a mutual friend.
OUR ENGAGEMENT STORY: After 6 amazing years together, Brendan popped the questions while we were out to dinner, watching the sunset, holidaying in Bali – oh so lovely!
MARRIAGE TO US MEANS: Sharing the same goals and values in life.
WEDDING LOCATION: Perth, Australia. Our ceremony was held at the UWA Sunken Gardens, while our reception was held at Mosmans Restaurant.
THEME/STYLE: Relaxed, simple, garden wedding.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Angela Higgins was our photographer, she is just so lovely and so very talented. She captured every moment of our special day perfectly, we absolutely adore our photos and couldnt ask for them to be more perfect

BRIDE’S DRESS: I had my dress made by the amazing Samantha Wynne, absolutely loved it!
BRIDE’S SHOES: Betts, nude coloured wedges, perfect for a garden wedding!
BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES: Nude/blush coloured strapless silk dresses from Forever New
BRIDESMAID’S SHOES: Nude coloured wedges.
JEWELLERY/ACCESSORIES: Earrings and a gorgeous hair pin found on Etsy.
WEDDING RING STYLES: Our wedding bands were from Rosendorrfs.. I had 2 thin white gold diamond bands while Brendan had a thick white gold band.
GROOM/GROOMSMEN ATTIRE: Brendan and his groomsmen all wore light grey suits, Brendan wore a white shirt while the boys wore black, they all looked very handsome.
HAIR: I wore my hair down wavy.
MAKEUP: Natural palette, with smokey eyes.
STATIONERY/INVITATIONS: I was lucky enough to have my cousin, who is a graphic designer help me with my stationary/invitations. We kept them simple using nude colours and white, they turned out just lovely!
WEDDING FAVORS/BONBONNIERE: I made several batches of raspberry jam which were put into small little jars for our guests to take home.
BOUQUETS: Myself and my bridesmaids all had peonies.
CEREMONY DÉCOR: White deck chairs and peonies.
RECEPTION DÉCOR: White peonies and white hydrangea were the main feature at our reception. We also had white rice paper lanterns and fluer poms which were hung throughout the area which looked fantastic.
WEDDING STYLIST: We didnt use a wedding stylist or planner, but instead used sources of inspiration to do everything ourselves.
CELEBRANT: Vanessa Macoboy
CAKE TYPE: I made our wedding cake, which consisted of 5 moist chocoloate cakes stacked on top of each other which were iced with a cream cheese icing.
WEDDING SONGS: Ceremony: Newton Faulker – If this is it. After ceremony: Jack Johnson – Better Together. First dance: Lifehouse – You and Me.
ENTERTAINMENT: Howie Morgan
FOOD & BEVERAGES::We had several different canapes to start the evening including prawns, scallops, oysters. For entree guests were served poached king prawns. For main guests had a choice of fillet of beef or red emperor. Dessert was a lemon and lime tart, tea, coffee and wedding cake was served after dessert.
TRANSPORT: Rolls Royce and a Lincoln Limosine
HONEYMOON: We spent 2 amazing months travelling through Europe, the best!

A MEMORABLE MOMENT: Seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony, very special moment!
ONE THING I WISH I KNEW BEFORE I STARTED MY WEDDING PLANS: That all the finer details that you sometimes worry about in the end dont matter as the day goes so fast and everything always turns out beautiful.
BEST ADVICE FOR PLANNING A WEDDING/TO BRIDES: Be true to yourself and enjoy the experience, soak it all up on the day as like everyone tells you it does go very fast!
