WHERE: Madrid, Spain
THEME: A beautiful rustic destination wedding set in Spain's romantic countryside.
DRESS: My gown was by Alma Aguilar
BRIDESMAIDS: French Connection and Isabel Marant
HAIR: I wanted quite a natural look and wore my hair in a loose plait. My hairstylist was Art Lab
RINGS: Both engagement and wedding bands were purchased from Tiffany & Co.
STATIONERY/INVITATIONS: Our stationery and invitations were designed by my husband Antonio and printed in De Papel. They provided a glimpse into the rustic, handmade style of our wedding.
FLOWERS:The Workshop Flores
CEREMONY DETAILS: The ceremony details were found at various Flea markets in Madrid and Lisbon. I collected vintage pieces such as flower vases, old keys whicih was used as part of our decor. I found some great handmade supplies on Etsy, and also used old furniture from mine and my sister's houses!
RECEPTION DETAILS: I found the reception napkins at Zara Home . All other peices were collected at flea markets and bought online at Etsy. The reception had a really vintage, rustic mismatched feel which suited the country landscape.
CAKE: Cupcake Madrid
ENTERTAINMENT: We used a Jazz Band of friends
FOOD & DRINKS: Catering creativo provided all of our catering. Drinks were supplied by Franceso Cavaggioni.
BEST ADVICE FOR PLANNING A WEDDING/TO BRIDES: Quite simply...Take it easy, and enjoy!
