Nothing quite compares to that overwhelmingly emotional feeling of walking slowly down the aisle of your wedding, after so much anticipation and excitement in the months of planning your ceremony. It's a dramatic moment, all the feelings that wash over you are very hard to put into words. It's a moment that goes so quickly, and as as stylist I love creating a long, dramatic aisle to really extend that moment and give the bride time to take it all in. (Who doesn't love having time to look back and forth between the bride and groom as they first meet eyes!?)

I came across these pictures that I thought were great inspiration to think creatively about your ceremony location and add drama to that walk down the aisle. Look for natural forming arches, beautiful rose gardens and unusual pathways. 

One of the pictures is a shot of Kate Moss & Jamie Hince's wedding, one of many that took my breath away! I absolutely fell in love with the beautiful garden path that lead toward her chapel…
