Floral ice cubes are the perfect decorative touch for a Summer wedding and are simple to create using small, edible flowers. Floral ice cubes can be added to your cocktails, a Summer punch our as ice for your wine buckets. If you're feeling creative, create your own ice-sculpture bowls decorated with fresh flowers for your dessert bar to hold sorbet, ice-cream and other confectionary. Borage flowers are a recommended edible flower type, and you can add food dye to customise the colour to suit your wedding.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Half fill ice block trays with cold wather and freeze. Remove ice from freezer and tip out the half blocks. Put a borage flower into each division, replace the half blocks and top them up with water. When the tray is returned to the freezer the borage flower will be set in the middle of the ice block.
