Te Ruau - This traditional ceremony takes place on a small private motu in the middle of a coral garden. After putting on the marriage pareo, couples will be escorted separately to the motu in a canoe decorated with flowers. Traditional love songs and Polynesian dances will be performed upon arrival. The couple will be seated in grand Pomare chairs before an alter and announce their vows before the master of ceremonies. After having received a Polynesian name and certificate of marriage, the couple returns to the bungalow where strawberries and champagne await. A personalized dinner on the terrace is presented to the couple as well.
